Anyone else out there applying to the Alaska Supreme Court or Court of Appeals? Heard anything?
recieved letter a letter from the COA with a clerk handbook...and a letter from the Supreme Court saying decisions would be finalized in the Fall...
Any word on interviews?
An Alaskan Supreme Court Justice is starting to interview for all State Courts. The Alaskan Court will be hiring 15 clerks. Decisions will be made by 10/13/06.
Have people been contacted for interviews?
I called chambers and was told that the Sup Ct was interviewing on campus nationwide this week and would reconvene next week.
The Supreme Court interviews students on campus at a few select schools. For instance, Justice Eastaugh was at Northwestern and U Mich last week. Not sure how they go about hiring people from other schools, if they do at all.
Any word recently? Nobody I've talked to at my school has heard back from any of the justices.
