To rephrase..."New York Court of Appeals has been rejecting." I assumed since I got a rejection letter, they had also begun to schedule interviews with candidates they were not immediately rejecting. Could be wrong though...
I had heard that Judge Read was the only one on the Court of Appeals hiring a personal clerk this year, and apparently she already hired someone from UChicago (her alma mater). I don't know whether the changes on the Court mean new clerkships opening up, though.

Has anyone scheduled an interview? I haven't heard yet.

Actually, I spoke with the contact woman and she informed that only one of the judges is actually hiring this year (Court of Appeals).
Can anyone tell me about the NY Court of Appeals central research staff positions?
Third Appellate Division (Albany) is calling.
NY COA Central Staff is like being a cert clerk - i.e., mostly advising the court on civil motions for leave to appeal. Great gig.
Anyone hear from the NY Commercial Division?
Commercial Division told me on the phone that their interviews won't start until Nov/Dec
Any updates on word from the Commercial Division?
I have been looking for sites like this for a long time. Thank you! » » »
