Kollar-Kotelly is full for 07-08
has huvelle completed her hiring?
Huvelle has hired, along with Hogan. Oberdorfer will hire in the spring.
Kessler's done for this year.
Brinkema will only hire current 3Ls who followed the hiring plan. Apparently, work experience after law school is a bad thing.
Collyer is done for '07-'08, requires one year work experience
Walton is done for '07-'08.
Leon has hired for 2007-08. Ditto the earlier comment on Brinkema -- no clerks with work experience.
Robertson won't hire until early October
So have any D.D.C. judges called today?

Has anyone else confirmed that DDC is just on a slower schedule? I find it weird because I got a lot of SDNY calls and not a single DDC call.

Roberts called this morning.
Friedman is on vacation until early Oct. His clerk didn't say when he would be calling, but it didn't sound like he had hired.
Facciola (magistrate) is scheduling interviews for Thursday via email.

Urbina is not hiring until '09, I guess his clerk decided to stay on another two years or something
Yeah but he hires in advance, meaning will hire for '08 or '09 now. I was wondering if anyone had actually received a call from the chambers.

Robertson has hired at least one.
Anyone heard from Walton?
called chambers today, Friedman not interviewing until Nov. Robertson not interviewing until Oct/Nov. Roberts = still interviewing. Sullivan = done. Kennedy = done.
Walton is done for 2007. He's hiring for 2008-2010, it's a two year clerkship. Not flexible on the two years.
Walton has not started interviewing for 2008 yet.
Robertson is done for 2007-2008.
Per an email that I just received, James Robertson is done - no idea where he hired from.
Just called Lamberth's chambers and was told that he is done hiring for 2007.
Roberts hired one last week, one to go.

Miller just switched status in OSCAR, assume that means hiring is done.
do any DC clerks out there think state clerkship experience just outside of DC would help acquire one of these for the term of 2008-2009?

E-mail from Friedman's secretary saying decisions have been made and offers are going out.
Did Friedman's secretary email you directly?
Yes, she e-mailed me directly, but I had e-mailed her last Friday asking if he had any spots left, and, if so, whether it was too late to send in an application. I have no reason to think they're e-mailing people generally.
I just called Friedman's chambers, and the secretary said he hadn't made his hiring decisions yet. My guess is that she was saying earlier that decisions/offers about who to interview had gone out.
Friedman finished hiring.
Any info on the recent Kessler opening?
Kessler's Fall 07 slot closed as quickly as it opened. :(
