Received a letter from Hunt dated Sept. 12. Says that he is in receipt of my application and a decision will be made by December 1.
Any news from Jones? And I also received Hunt's letter. Any clue what that means?
Reed has already scheduled interviews
I believe the hunt letter is a dont call us, we will call you if you get an interview letter. If you havent heard by deceber 1, you didnt get an interview

Has anyone heard from the Reno Judges? Hicks, McKibben, Sandoval?
Yes, scheduled a phone interview with Hunt.
Jones (Las Vegas) already hired one clerk a couple of months ago (grad) and has scheduled some interviews.
Judge Hicks has not invited applicants for interviews yet. He is still reviewing applications.
It appears that Sandoval has no openings this year (just called chambers, apparantly a glitch in OSCAR)
Judge Jones (LV) has finished interviews (but not yet made his last hiring decision).
What is Reed's status??

McKibben -- one clerk staying on, one hire from last year's applicants
Hicks--done
Reed--done
Sandoval--not hiring for '07
If any law clerks from NV read this board, perhaps they could let Sandoval know to list his opening in OSCAR as not accepting applications then!!
