got an email from Vecharelli (sp?) magistrate in Cleveland that the need has changed and she will not be hiring in 2007 after all.

Does anyone know if any OH judges are still accepting applications, esp. Cincinnati judges (Barrett, Beckwith, Dlott, Spiegel, Weber)?
Regrettably, none of the Cincinnati judges were ever accepting applications. Every federal judge in Cincinnati has career clerks. Yes, even Barrett, who was confirmed just four months ago.
Actually, Judge Dlott does hire term clerks - although I believe she hired an alum very early this year.

I have it on good authority that Oliver has not started reviewing applications yet.

Carr has extended his offers and hired 2 of 3.

Someone had said a week ago Economus was done, but his posting is still active in OSCAR..??..??
Zouhary just switched his status to not accepting apps in OSCAR - I assume that means he is done.
Carr's email from OSCAR this morning said that he is done hiring.

Holschuh actually hired at least one just this morning (a classmate of mine).
Yes Holschuh is done, he has hired a current Magistrate Judge clerk and a 3L from Cincinnati.
