FYI - Diamond prefers to make offers after he's interviewed a number of candidates (i.e., no exploding offers).

Caputo called to schedule an interview.
Conti allows resumes until 9/22/06 and, from what her secretary said, they don't even look at resumes until then.
As far as Hardiman is concerned, he just got nominated to the third circuit, so he's been putting this stuff off.
Gibson, as far as I know, has already started setting up interviews.

got a rejection from Ditter via email 5 minutes ago.
Per calls to chambers, Buckwalter and Yohn have finished making calls, and Rufe is "booked up this week" (unclear if that means she is done or not).

Davis just switched his status in OSCAR as well - as did a lot of judges - perhaps the AO sent an email reminder to do so after filling the slots, which is appreciated by us, the candidates to know if they are done or not!

does anyone have any idea what it means that Kosik has been interviewing for so long? Does anyone know if he just wanted to interview a lot of candidates or if he doesn't like his options thus far, and therefore would like more candidates to consider. Thoughts??

Hardiman is still interviewing. He will make a final decision in the second week of November. He is hiring one clerk for sure, and two more if he gets the appellate court position.

Any word on Judge Kane in the middle district?
To Middle District Clerks – I’d like to set up an email list for all the 2007 clerks so we can get to know each other a bit before we start in August. If you’d like, send an email to MDPA2007Clerks@yahoo.com, and include your name, email, law school or where moving from, and judge for whom you’ll be clerking. I’d be happy to put all this information together and email it to everyone.
