Cowen is interviewing.

Fuentes is also interviewing. Does anyone know whether these judges are making offers or whether they are waiting to review other candidates in September?
Garth is also interviewing, but using snail mail to offer interviews.
They are making offers as they go along, after interviews.
Sloviter is interviewing.
Anyone know if Maryanne Trump Barry is hiring this year?
Smith is interviewing.
Maryanne Trump Barry has completed her hiring (hired four law school graduates).
Brooks Smith is making calls, at least to graduates.
Fuentes is making calls (only accepts applications from graduates).
Rendell is interviewing

Brooks Smith has hired one graduate so far.
aldisert's clerks are doing preliminary phone interviews
Roth is either done or, at a minimum, is no longer reviewing applications according to OSCAR.

Brody and Kauffman are actually district judges on the Eastern District of Pennsylvania
D.B. Smith is actually a judge on the Western District of PA
Chagares has called.
Fisher is scheduling interviews
D.B. Smith is actually NOT a Western District of PA Judge. When I interviewed with him he was a Third Circuit Judge. He still is.
Judge Brooks Smith IS on the 3d Circuit and anyone would be very lucky to work with him
Truly. He was Chief Judge of the Western District but he has sat on the Third Circuit since '02 -- that might be the cause of confusion? An extraordinary judge.
Does anyone know Fisher's offer tendencies (on the spot, take a few days, etc)?
Has anyone heard from Ambro or Scirica?
I heard from Scirica on Thursday at about 12:20.
Anyone hear from Nygaard or Van Antwerpen?
Judge Roth has hired at least one graduate. Even though her name appears on OSCAR, rumor has it she really doesn't use it and goes through mailed apps first.
Judge Ambro has hired three - at least two are graduates.
My understanding is that Nygaard is still reviewing applications (at least as of Friday afternoon).
Has Rendell hired any graduates?

Calls to chambers revealed that
1. Scirica is not done interviewing, but has called everyone that he would be interested in interviewing. So no call = not interested.
2. This one may have already been clear, but Sloviter is done hiring.
Fisher?
Rendell is done.
Yet more bad news:
-Roth is done.
-Ambro is still interviewing but has called everyone he would be interested in hiring.
Scirica is done.
Still no word on Frankie V? (Hon. Franklin Van Antwerpen)
D. Brooks Smith is done, at least according to his post-interview ding letter.
Van Antwerpen has already hired at least one 3L.
As has Fisher.

Aldisert is done: Harvard and U. of Oklahoma.
