Judge Posner has hired both of his clerks.

Anonymous said...

Williams is conducting interviews.

Anonymous said...

Posner has hired two clerks, but he still has one open spot.

Anonymous said...

My understanding is that Posner has historically only hired only two clerks, which would suggest he is done, but who knows.

Anonymous said...

Posner is not full. He has one spot left. His clerks have contacted potential hires for that spot already though.

Anonymous said...

Ripple is interviewing.

Anonymous said...

Is Ripple interviewing graduates or law students?

Anonymous said...

Flaum is interviewing.

Anonymous said...

Manion is done

Anonymous said...

posner has hired his third clerk

Anonymous said...

Does anyone know whether Ripple has hired, and if so, how many?

Anonymous said...

I don't think Ripple has hired anyone yet.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Anyone heard from Flaum today?!?

Anonymous said...

Sykes called at 12:30

Anonymous said...

Anything from Ripple?

Anonymous said...

Has Posner been calling at all today, or is the post saying he's full confirmed?

Anonymous said...

Re: Flaum, I heard that he was interviewing last week. Not sure if those were grads or if he broke the plan.

Anonymous said...

Ripple emailed & called

Anonymous said...

email from Ripple

Did Easterbrook make calls?

Anonymous said...

Any news about Evans?

Anonymous said...

Judge Manion is NOT done. He has one opening remaining for '07 since a clerk has opted for one-year clerkship (typically he hires 2-year term clerks). NOTE: Judge Manion only hires those who have at least one year of legal experience after law school.

Anonymous said...

Has anyone heard about Easterbrook or Bauer?

Anonymous said...

Easterbrook's vacancy postings usually state that he hires primarily U of Chicago grads/students upon the recommendation of that school's clerkship committee.

Anonymous said...

Postcard from Flaum's chambers today dated Sep. 12: "Judge Flaum will commence the selection process in the near future."

Anonymous said...

Sykes was still calling as of this morning.

Anonymous said...

Easterbrook is calling. He is interviewing only a small number of people. Anyone know how many slots he has?

Anonymous said...

Kanne is not done yet either; he made at least one call this evening offering interviews for Monday.

Anonymous said...

anybody know how many slots Kanne or Ripple have?

Anonymous said...

Easterbrook has two slots and has made calls already.

Posner has three slots and has fully hired for 07.

Anonymous said...

Kanne was calling this afternoon, offering interviews for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Anonymous said...

nothing on Evans in Wisconsin?

Anonymous said...

Bauer anyone?

Anonymous said...

can't believe there is no new news on the 7th Circuit! News anyone?

Anonymous said...

Wood is done.

Anonymous said...

Has Sykes made any offers?

Anonymous said...

Sykes has made at least one offer

Anonymous said...

Ripple has hired at least one.

Anonymous said...

ripple is done

Anonymous said...

any news on williams?

Anonymous said...

yes, Sykes has hired one from Marquette.

Anonymous said...

williams generally requires work experience

Anonymous said...

Sykes also hired from Notre Dame & Harvard.

Anonymous said...

Any new word on Manion--whether he's hiring for next term and whether he's done?

Anonymous said...

Any word on Cudahy? Has he filled his slots?

Anonymous said...

so Evans has not yet called anyone?

Anonymous said...

Cudahy has hired both of his clerks.

Anonymous said...

last I heard Evans was out of the office until Thursday last week, so he might still be reviewing resumes...

Anonymous said...

How many spots will Evans have this year to fill?

Anonymous said...

Evans had two spots to fill, and he has filled them...trust me.

Anonymous said...

Who did Ripple hire?

Anonymous said...

Kanne is done

Anonymous said...

so where did Evans hire from?

Anonymous said...

Any word on whether Flaum will be calling current law students sometime in the coming months?

Anonymous said...

Re: Flaum, rumor around the courthouse is that he is done (grads and 3Ls alike.) Just a rumor.

Anonymous said...

Flaum still has one spot open. And he is not done with his interviewing process, though he largely interviews candidates recommended to him from trusted professors, lawyers, former clerks, etc.

Anonymous said...

To the person who posted that Evans was done and to trust them, where did Evans hire from?

Anonymous said...

Update on Bauer anyone?

Anonymous said...

Bauer is just starting to review resumes.

Anonymous said...

Ripple hired one from Virginia.

Anonymous said...

Sykes is done.

Anonymous said...

Sykes is done.

Anonymous said...

Ripple hired a clerk from Fordham...

Anonymous said...

Who's Ripple's third?

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Evans or Bauer update anyone??

Anonymous said...

nothing yet on Evans or Bauer???

Anonymous said...

Evans and Bauer both finally changed their status to filled on FLCIS but just yesterday ....

Anonymous said...

Anyone know what Wood's status is?

Anonymous said...

Anyone know what Wood's status is?

Anonymous said...

Wood hired during the first two days of the interview period.

Anonymous said...

if you happen to be her clerk, could you then suggest they close the opening in FLCIS in that case.

Anonymous said...

I got an official rejection letter from Judge Flaum today (I never had an interview). I assume that means he's done.

Anonymous said...

Huh, looks like the spammers (March 5, 2:44 pm) have found their way in.... I'm sorry to see that.

Seventh Circuit news? Uhhhh, nope--sorry.
