Judge Manion is NOT done. He has one opening remaining for '07 since a clerk has opted for one-year clerkship (typically he hires 2-year term clerks). NOTE: Judge Manion only hires those who have at least one year of legal experience after law school.
Easterbrook's vacancy postings usually state that he hires primarily U of Chicago grads/students upon the recommendation of that school's clerkship committee.
Flaum still has one spot open. And he is not done with his interviewing process, though he largely interviews candidates recommended to him from trusted professors, lawyers, former clerks, etc.

Judge Posner has hired both of his clerks.
Williams is conducting interviews.
Posner has hired two clerks, but he still has one open spot.
My understanding is that Posner has historically only hired only two clerks, which would suggest he is done, but who knows.
Posner is not full. He has one spot left. His clerks have contacted potential hires for that spot already though.

Easterbrook's vacancy postings usually state that he hires primarily U of Chicago grads/students upon the recommendation of that school's clerkship committee.
Postcard from Flaum's chambers today dated Sep. 12: "Judge Flaum will commence the selection process in the near future."
Sykes was still calling as of this morning.

Anyone know what Wood's status is?
Wood hired during the first two days of the interview period.
if you happen to be her clerk, could you then suggest they close the opening in FLCIS in that case.
I got an official rejection letter from Judge Flaum today (I never had an interview). I assume that means he's done.
Huh, looks like the spammers (March 5, 2:44 pm) have found their way in.... I'm sorry to see that.
Seventh Circuit news? Uhhhh, nope--sorry.
